the Attraction’s in Town

The Family Copoli landed with aplomb in Edinburgh, filling out more than half of our stage nearly every night. And this was opening weekend – we’ve only just begun.
One sellout show. Crowds flocking – nearly every person in that picture was in line for the show. One might even think the theatre was starting to flourish again, after the Accident. Who can say, for sure? You may just have to come and find out. (Reviewers can say. That’s who. They did. Check out this 5-star review from BingeFringe! But also you can say – look at all of these glowing audience reviews on the fringe website itself.)
For those of you that have already come to the show (or come multiple times, you and us both know who you are) thank you so much! But the family doesn’t get complacent. If you haven’t come, and you’re at the Fringe, we eagerly await your arrival. If you have come, why not tell some friends? Enemies? Total strangers? Word of mouth really is the best advertising we can get. Tag us on any posts you make – we love seeing them all!
For that matter, if you’ve been once already, why not give it another go? We know we’re always excited to see some familiar faces in the audience. Maybe you’ll even notice something different – we’re always trying new things to improve our acts. In fact, why not just show up every night?
I may be getting a little carried away. Suffice to say – we’re pretty happy campers. Tired, maybe, but happy. We really are over the moon at how much people are taking to the show. We can’t go on if we have no we, and the more we (see: you) there are, the better we go on. It’s a pun, see, about people going on and going on stage. Whee!
What else have we been up to? So much. Here’s a few:
- An interview with FLX Flow with Liv, Daniela, and Oscar
- A moving flyering campaign, in costume and character on the Royal Mile: “The Parade”
- Seeing lots of other shows!
- SOCIAL MEDIA! Check out our Instagram for frequent cast and crew takeovers and updates on what each person is doing at the Fringe!
