We’re Blasting Off Again

We’ve been tinkering and scrapping over the last few weeks. Our set is firmly in progress, our designers have pages of notes on each character’s makeup profile, our costumers have a smorgasbord of plans to fit the cast both in their characters and in their characters’ characters.
But a picture is worth a thousand words, and a video has a whole lot of pictures. Check out our latest BEHIND THE SCENES VIDEO, featuring the progress we’ve made, interviews with the cast and crew, and some good old family bonding!
On the administrative side, we’ve purchased the flights for our team of 12, secured our housing for the month, covered our venue and fringe registration fees, and constructed the first 25% of our costumes, set, and props! Those things were necessary. But when necessary gets expensive, it can leave our creative teams scrounging for supplies. Edinburgh is less than two months away. We’re still looking for support in funding the following expenses:
- Musician and instrument fees
- Technician fees
- Foreign exchange rates
- The next 75% of our costumes, set, and props
- Cargo travel expenses
- Marketing (online and on the ground in Edinburgh)
- Public Liability Insurance
Which is why we’re launching our second round of crowdfunding! We’re building the set, we’re stitching the clothes, we’re scouting the musicians, we’re scrappy and thrifty – but we still need just one more good push to kickstart our engines. This second campaign will bring The Family Copoli to fruition, enabling us to present a polished, high-quality production in Edinburgh and seize every opportunity the Fringe presents. We’d deeply appreciate your help in spreading the word — or even your support once more if you’re able and amped! Thank you again for being part of this journey—we’re thrilled to share what’s ahead.
When are we launching, you ask?
Tomorrow.
Get ready for The Family Copoli’s second launch.
I thought the World Ended?
Well, it’s going to end at least one more time yet. For those of you who attended last Last Night on Earth, you know that event was a ball and a blast. (And thank you for coming!) The sky will fall again in Ithaca on July 11th, 9pm to midnight. Mark your calendars – you won’t need them after this.
We’ve heard rumors of at least one more world-shattering night, but stay tuned for the forecast of when and where…
